Festival fever...

Festival season is in the air and although this isn't the most practical outfit for a festival (shorts= practical) it certainly has that bohemian festival vibe.

Top - Topshop
Belt - Thrifted

With my Chelsea boots and straw hat, i kinda feel like i'm channeling my inner cowgirl.

Boots - Primark
Hat - Accessorize

This old satchel style bag was my favourite last summer because it has sooo much space and i can just chuck in pretty much anything! I love how slouchy it is and the mustard-brown faux leather is awesome.

Bag - River Island

"This skirt."
One of my favorite colours has to be emerald green! This skirt is high-low perfection, it's perfect for summer because the chiffon type fabric is so lightweight and airy.

Skirt - Forever 21

Yes my nails are sunshine yellow - why not!
Every time I look down at them i feel a little more happy. For accessories I just piled on a few rings.

Nail Polish - Barry M
Rings - Topshop

Boho and Blue...

"Its all about the skirt"
There i was walking through new look skimming past maxi dresses, play suits and midi skirts when this little beauty caught my eye! We all know about my love for all things paisley print ( i may do a post on all the paisley items i own). So I decided to style an outfit around this lovely skirt...

I am currently so obsessed with this denim jacket and chuck it on pretty much everyday; I love that it is a classic denim blue and not light wash-denim. For me a denim jacket is a real staple piece for a summer wardrobe because of its durability and versatility, it pretty much goes with everything. Underneath i am wearing my cut out top from h&m. I am absolutely loving all the lace, crochet, cut out bohemian tops at the moment!
Denim Jacket - Dorothy Perkins
Top - H&M

"Cinch it in at the waist"
This old thrifted belt is one of my favorites. Its super chunky, i actually had to pierce extra holes because it was originally a pretty long man's belt. But the aztec/tribal pattern on it is awesome and it has a kinda boho / cowboy feel to it.

I think i would wear this skirt every day if i could get away with it! Paisley paisley paisley - i am obsessed with it. The colours are beautiful and actually quite autumnal but totally work for summer. The icing on the cake has got to be all the little elephants across the bottom, whoever designed this print is an absolute genius. To me this skirt just screams boho style which is why i like it so much.

Skirt - New Look

"Yes. it has pockets!"
I wish more of my skirt had pockets - pretty and practical.

This little thrifted beauty is my 'bag of the moment'. I think the stitching is a lovely touch alongside the little fringed tassels on the side. If you know me you'll know i am quite addicted to brown bags and even though there are 1000 different colours and patterns out there i always seem to end up buying a brown bag. But its a classic earthy colour and goes with most things in my wardrobe.

Bag - Thrited

"Summer Sandals"
I am breaking in my new white Flatform sandals. The height boost is a major bonus! They are so comfortable and easy to walk in because of the slight slope, it doesn't feel like i'm walking on two blocks.

Shoes - Topshop

Vintage summer...

I realised i hadn't actually done many posts styling my brown Cambridge Satchel bag! The satchel was a birthday present from my parents and i absolutely adore it, i'm so glad that they chose the classic brown because it is super versatile and goes so well with most things in my wardrobe. I use it everyday as my college bag because it is so sturdy and is the right size for all my books and stuff. For this outfit i decided to run with the retro vintage style of my satchel...

I decided to chuck on my white crochet jumper that i purchased from a vintage store a while ago - the crochet detail is so cute.

Jumper - Vintage

The dress i'm wearing was one of my favorites last summer! It has a ditsy floral skirt and the top half is a soft denim-like material

Dress - River island

Embossed initials - cute little touch!

This little jumper has the cutest scalloped hemline! I cinched it in with my simple brown belt from Primark. Like most people I am naturally drawn to floral prints whenever the sun is out, simply because i love to a little feel feminine. It is the perfect summer cliche.

Belt - Primark

I wear these healed Chelsea boots all the time! They are super easy to walk in and i think that deep oxblood colour is divine! The little white socks subtly accent my jumper wonderfully.

Boots - Amazon

"Action shot"

Saturday Style...

~Saturday's outfit of the day~

"All this sunshine better last!"
I'm really getting into summer style and my wardrobe is starting to evolve!
Denim, lace and floral print - a good combination.

I just love the burnt orange terracotta colour on this floral blouse! I think i probably own tons of clothing items in that shade just because it works for both summer and winter. The blouse has a peter pan color which is pretty cute and ads to the whole feminine vibe.

I am currently crazy about this denim jacket! When i was looking for a jacket i was super picky because i think some denim washes can look a little tacky. After looking at light-wash denim, acid wash, dark denim and coloured denim, i finally decided a classic blue was the one for me. I have probably said it a billion times but if you know me, you'll know that i always look for things with quirky little details and as soon as i spotted the simple embroidered color on this jacket i was instantly sold! I also like that the buttons are just a plane brass and not engraved with a brand name.

Denim Jacket - Dorothy Perkins

"Can I get a close up?"

This skirt is feminine lace perfection! I really love all things laced and woven as they tend to have a Boho vibe. This skirt totally compliments my feminine floral blouse and picks out the little white flowers I cinched it all in with a brown belt from Primark. I purchased the skirt at H&M and i have to say i am loving their summer collection at the moment!

Skirt - H&M

"Flatform Feet"
Even though i absolutely detest looking at feet and people looking at my feet, i thought i'd suck it up in order to show you these beauties! Topshop have a beautiful range of quirky footwear at the moment and really wanted a pair of summery sandals. When i saw this rather simple white pair i was sold, the height enhancement is a total bonus when you're only 5ft 2.

~ Accessories ~
I love hair accessories, hats and flower crowns and i don't we wear them enough! I decided to turn an old chiffon scarf into a little turban head-wrap, and to match this d.i.y Boho accessory i chose my brown vintage bag which some adorable tassels. My sunnies were a Primark £1 bargain which you've seen before in many of my posts - it may be time to expand my collection!

Turban head-wrap - D.I.Y
Sunglasses - Primark
Bag - Vintage store

"Close up number 2 please"
I have been obsessed with this teal nail-polish from Topshop for so long now. It is summer perfection and clashes with everything in the right way!

"....and that's a wrap"
